Free Pancake Breakfast – Urban Sugaring Project

Join us for a free pancake breakfast at the churches of St. Matthias and St. James located at 86 Glasgow Street North. The free pancake breakfast will be on Saturday February 3 from 9 until 11:30 and marks the kick off of the Urban Sugaring Project. Everyone is welcome to join us for some fresh pancakes and real maple syrup!

The Urban Sugaring Project allows tree owners in the City of Guelph to work together to create maple syrup. Tree owners rent a kit (a bucket, tree tap, and instructions) for $10 and return the collected sap to a central location. The sap is pooled and boiled down by volunteers to syrup and redistributed back to the participants.
