Location

Event Description
In an effort to keep parking available on Carden Street, this year’s Movies in the Square series, which offers a variety of family-friendly favourites, will show three movies on Wilson Street and one movie in Exhibition Park.
On Friday July 6, families, friends, and movie fans are invited to bring a lawn chair (and blankets if it’s cool out) and cozy up on Wilson Street for a drive-in experience minus the car.
Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as the Special — an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. He finds himself drafted into a fellowship of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil tyrant’s (Will Ferrell) plans to conquer the world. Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly — and hilariously — unprepared for such a task, but he’ll give it his all nonetheless.
This movie is rated PG for mild action and rude humour.
Seating for Movies in the Square is on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of inclement weather, screenings will move inside to the City Hall Galleria, except for the August 24 movie in Exhibition Park, which would be cancelled.
