Guelphites Making a Difference

 In Real Estate Market News

Zachary Collins  has been writing books since he was in Grade 1 with his Art Teacher, Debbie Wilson.  He was so inspired after  seeing the Founder of Free the Children speak at an event in May, he decided he needed to do more to be part of the change. He decided to combined his passion for writing with his desire to help children across the world by selling his books to raise money for “Free the Children”  <>

He has had a very busy, fun and exciting summer selling his first book “Medieval Mystery”. Zach did a book signing at the Stone Store in Guelph in June (thank you BrendaJ) that led to a radio segment, TV spot and coverage in our local paper (see links below). His focus and drive to raise money through his books sales for children in need has been both inspiring and moving.

The exciting news is he has raised $1500 to date for Free the Children and he continues to work towards his goal of $8500 to build a school in a community in need. The support from Free the Children has also been motivational for Zachary.
