Demand for real estate in the City of Guelph remains quite high as we begin Q3, though sales activity is held back by slowing inventory. Consistent demand coupled with rising sales prices is leading to steady sales volumes and a strong Seller’s market in Guelph.

The month of July in Guelph/Eramosa showed tighter inventory, but sustained demand is increasing sales prices and pushing up sales volume for the year. As a result, homes remain on the market for short periods of time, making this a great time for Sellers to list.  

Centre-Wellington – centre-wellington-july-2021-rc-realty-market-report 

As we start off Q3, demand for homes in Centre Wellington remains strong. Overall sales activity continues to steadily climb, despite a slowing of listing activity due to buyer fatigue and summer vacations. This steady demand for homes continues to result in escalating sales prices and an overall increase in sales volume for this area.

The Puslinch real estate market, while being a micro-market, is being held back by a lack of inventory. Sales prices continue to rise, but listing activity has decreased by approximately 30% year over year. The sustained demand in the area continues to push prices and keep active inventory low.

The housing market in Wellington County continues to show a strong seller’s market as we start off Q3. Despite being held back by a lack of inventory, strong buyer demand and increasing sales prices lead to steady sales volumes.

As we enter Q3, the market in Halton Hills is being held back by a lack of inventory. This Seller’s market saw 30% fewer listings in July than it did in the same month in 2020. Steady demand continues to put pressure on prices and makes it a great time for Sellers to list.

Demand for homes in Hamilton remains strong despite a slight decrease in listing activity in July. Overall sales volumes remain steady due to increasing sales prices and persistent buyer demand. The market in Hamilton continues to be a strong Seller’s market, making it a great time to list.
