Will You Be Participating in Earth Hour this Weekend?
Earth Hour is the single, largest, symbolic mass participation event in the world. Born out of a hope that we could mobilize people to take action on climate change, Earth Hour now inspires a global community of millions of people in 7,001 cities and towns across 152 countries and territories to switch lights off for an hour as a massive show of concern for the environment.
Earth Hour 2013 will be held on Saturday March 23 at 8:30pm-9:30pm wherever you are in the world. So save the date and keep coming back to earthhour.org to see the world unite to protect the planet.
Earth Hour is your opportunity to show your commitment to change as part of a global interconnected community. Our Earth Hour community already has some inspiring stories of how they are truly going Beyond the Hour with sustainable steps, big and small, towards a better planet.
